Privacy Policy for FalconryLab

Effective Date: August 30, 2026
Last Updated: August 30, 2026
Version: 1.1.0

Scope of this policy. This policy covers the FalconryLab iOS app. Our website, falconrylab.com, is covered by a separate Website Privacy & Cookie Notice, because the website uses cookies, web analytics, and third-party advertising that the app does not.

Privacy at a Glance

Before you read the full legal text, here is a plain-language summary of how FalconryLab handles your data. Your bird management records, including weight logs, training sessions, feeding data, and hunt journals, are stored locally on your device first and synced to secure cloud servers only when you have an internet connection. We do not sell, rent, or share your FalconryLab account or bird data with advertisers or data brokers.

The app does not use any analytics or advertising SDKs, and it does not track you across other apps or websites. The app does not serve advertisements, and we do not build advertising profiles from your in-app activity. We collect only the information necessary to provide the app's features: your account details, the bird data you enter, GPS recorded while a hunt is active, and the pins you drop on the Falconry Map to record raptor sightings — a spot you choose, not your own position, and private to your account unless you deliberately make one public. Our website is different — see the Website Privacy & Cookie Notice.

You own your data completely. You can export your weight records at any time, and you can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app at Settings → Delete Account — deletion is immediate and permanent. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit. The full policy below provides the complete legal details, but the short version is simple: your data is yours, and we treat it with the respect it deserves.
